f) Click finish, if you get an SMTP error try using your ISP's SMTP server name.
Problems:
When you click the "Test Settings" button in the Outlook account properties and get:
"Send test e-mail message: Outlook could not logon to the outgoing mail server (SMTP). The problem could be the server name, your server may require authentication, or your server may not support SSL. Verify authentication and SSL options under More Settings."
The problem could be your SMPT server has been configured to require authentication, but your Outlook/Outlook Express authentication are not being configured on the client.
Solution:
In the Outlook 2003,in the internet E-mail setting(POP3) page, click More setting, go to outgoing server tab, click to select "my outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication", then select "use same settings as my incoming mail server", click OK. Then click test account settings to see if it helps.
